About Bloor West Village
Bloor West Village is the historic shopping village along Bloor Street West between Jane Street and South Kingsway, in the west end of Toronto. It was created by local merchants in the 1970s as one of the first business improvement areas in North America, and the streetscape still reflects that early-20th-century commercial character — small shopfronts, the restored 1920s Runnymede Theatre building, and neighbourhood cafés along Bloor West.
The village sits at the north end of Swansea and Runnymede, with High Park just to the east and the Humber River valley to the west. Families here typically look for a general dental practice they can walk, cycle or drive to for regular visits — and Lambton Dental is a short trip north on Runnymede Road, then west on Dundas Street West, to Scarlett Road.
