Do you diagnose sleep apnea at Lambton Dental?
No. Sleep apnea is diagnosed by a physician, usually with a home or in-lab sleep study. We fabricate custom oral appliances after diagnosis, coordinated with your sleep physician.
Do you offer IV sedation?
Yes. IV sedation is performed by dentists at Lambton Dental who hold the required Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario parenteral sedation permit, after a detailed medical history review.
How often should I see the dentist if I've had periodontal treatment?
Most patients who have had periodontitis benefit from a three- to four-month maintenance cycle. The exact interval is set at your re-evaluation based on how the gums are responding.
Do you refer to specialists?
Yes, when appropriate. Complex extractions, larger periodontal surgery or specific implant cases may be referred to an oral surgeon or periodontist, with routine care continuing under one roof here.
Are payment plans available for larger reconstructions?
Monthly payment plans through a third-party financing partner are available on approved credit. Sequencing treatment across calendar years also makes the most of annual insurance maximums.
